Delivery Timescales
All Orchidique orders are dispatched using a tracked UK express delivery service. We use a trusted network of couriers including DPD, DX Delivery and Royal Mail.
We aim to dispatch orders within 1–3 working days (Sunday to Thursday), with over 95% of orders dispatched within 1 working day. Where possible, orchids are sent using a 24-hour next-day delivery service to ensure they arrive in the best possible condition.
Because orchids are living plants, dispatch timing is carefully managed to protect their health.

Our delivery charges are based on order value. There is no minimum order value.

Dispatching Your Order
We dispatch orders Sunday to Thursday only. This ensures orchids are not held in courier warehouses over the weekend, which helps protect plant quality.
Orders placed after 12 noon on Thursday will normally be dispatched on the next available dispatch day, unless agreed otherwise.
Some orchids are supplied directly from specialist growers. These may take 1–2 weeks to arrive. This is because certain varieties require very specific growing and conditioning environments right up until dispatch — helping ensure your orchid arrives healthy and thriving.
Weather conditions can also affect dispatch times. If conditions are unsuitable for transporting live plants, we may delay shipping so that your orchid arrives in the best possible condition.
If part of your order is not ready, we will usually ship everything together to reduce environmental impact. If you need part of your order sooner, please contact us — additional carriage charges may apply.
When You Can Expect Your Parcel
Once dispatched, your order is sent on a tracked express service. You will receive:

A dispatch confirmation with tracking
We dispatch Sunday to Thursday to avoid unnecessary delays in transit over weekends, ensuring your orchids arrive fresh and healthy.
Minimum Order Value
There is no minimum order value. We offer premium tracked delivery from just £4.99.
Delivery Instructions
You can add delivery instructions during checkout, including safe-place requests. These are passed directly to the courier.
Please note:
If you ask for a parcel to be left unattended or in a safe place, this is at your own risk, and we cannot refund or replace items lost or damaged by weather or theft.
Delivery Information You Provide
Please ensure all delivery details are correct before ordering.
If incorrect details result in failed or mis-delivered parcels, we cannot refund or resend unless the parcel is returned to us in a resalable condition. Any additional delivery charges will be payable by the customer.

Returns & Plant Health
All orchids are grown by professional growers and quality-checked both at source and again before dispatch. Each plant is carefully secured in its packaging to protect it during transit.
Minor leaf loss or cosmetic marks can occur during transport and is not usually a cause for concern.
If your orchid arrives significantly damaged, please email hello@orchidplant.co.uk
within 48 hours with clear photographs so we can help.
Returns & Refunds for Orchids
If your orchid arrives damaged and is unlikely to recover:

with photos before repotting or pruning.
We will assess the issue and offer a:

Partial refund
Full refund
depending on the circumstances.
We do not accept returns for change of mind. Live plants are perishable goods and are exempt from the 14-day cooling-off period.
All orchid sizes are approximate and natural variation in shape, height and bloom count is normal. Heights include the nursery pot.
